Yugoslavia 90 Home
Yugoslavia were a formidable force in the 1990 World Cup. Coming second in their group and making it all the way to the Quarter Finals, they almost looked like they’d go all the way after coming second in their group, losing only the eventual winners, West Germany.
In the knockout stage, they dismissed Hierro & Butragueño’s Spain 2-1. A tough ask, they found themselves facing a prime Argentina featuring the likes of Maradona, Caniggia, and the formidable Sergio Goycochea who single-handedly saved 3 Yugoslavian penalties to put Argentina through to the next stage.
Despite Yugoslavia going home early, it was a World Cup performance to remember. It’s also extremely hard to ignore their amazing choice of kit. A kit that’s inspired us to make these socks. These socks have been made in partnership with Classic Football Shirts and are made with combed cotton meaning they're breathable and are perfect for every occasion. They feature a zoned cushioned design and arch support to provide a snug and comfortable fit.
