The Story:
Wesley Sneijder became a new man in 2010 after his career at Real Madrid was turned upside down. Jose Mourinho saw his chance to nab the Dutch Wizard and let him loose in Italy. Sneijder was immense for Inter Milan and player an integral role in their treble winning year where they won the Coppa Italia, Serie A & UEFA Champions League.
Sneijder carried this form into the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, where he was named MOTM in 5 of 7 games and scored 5 goals. Wesley was incredible in this tournament and the team were unlucky not to the lift the trophy. Still to this day, it's a crime that he didn't win the Ballon d'Or that year...
